Location Description: We
are not back on the Colorado Plateau, about 50 miles north of the
Little Colorado River at Holbrook. This broad area hosts
remnants of the Bidahochi Formation, a deposit that supports the
hypothesis that a large lake existed upstream of Grand Canyon just
prior to Grand Canyon incision.
