Location Description: We are standing at Grandview Point, the highest point on the south rim of the Grand Canyon at 7,400ft. If you project the curve of the Kaibab Plateau out to the position of the the Colorado River, the Kaibab Plateau would have been a 7,500ft obstruction to the Colorado River. How did the river get across? Oh, yeah... that's what we are trying to figure out ...
