Follow the Water Stop 11 of 13

Racetrack Playa: Arguably the highlight of the trip, Racetrack Playa is a classic mud playa.  Why is a mud playa instead of a salt playa like the others we have visited?  Why is it called Racetrack Playa?  Check out the stops provided and find out!  And... keep in mind, water from Mt. Whitney never came through this valley, but this is just too cool to pass up.
